Citizen Science Toolbox

UNESCO is implementing a project titled "Addressing Hydro-Climatic Vulnerability through Citizen and Open Science" with a core objective of developing, testing, and evaluating citizen science methodologies. These methodologies are vital for building resilience against water-related challenges posed by climate change in pilot countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

As part of this initiative, the Citizen Science Toolbox platform enables:

• Open access to collected data through citizen science efforts globally.
• Visualizing and exploring data for enhanced decision-making.
• Empowering local communities by using citizen science as a tool for climate education and action.
